Linux Installation

Aegis Video Organizer for Linux is available as a Snap package across all major distributions, or as a standalone Debian/Ubuntu (.deb) package. Both packages include the required local AI libraries to run without missing dependencies.

Installation Options

Option 1: Snap Package (Recommended)

Install Aegis Video Organizer directly from the Snap Store:

Or run the following command in your terminal:

sudo snap install aegisvideoorganizer

Option 2: Debian / Ubuntu (.deb)

1. Open your terminal.

2. Navigate to your Downloads folder:

cd ~/Downloads

3. Install the package using apt (recommended):

sudo apt install ./aegisvideoorganizer_XXX_amd64.deb

Note: Using sudo apt install will automatically download any required system dependencies.

Windows Installation

Install Aegis Video Organizer from the Microsoft Store, where it is listed as AegisVideoManager. The Store installs it in one click and keeps it up to date automatically.

Installation

1. Open the AegisVideoManager page in the Microsoft Store.

2. Click Get (or Install).

3. Launch AegisVideoManager from the Start menu.
