Linux Installation

Aegis Video Organizer for Linux is available as a Snap package across all major distributions, or as a standalone Debian/Ubuntu (.deb) package. Both packages include the required local AI libraries to run without missing dependencies.

Installation Options

Option 1: Snap Package (Recommended)

Install Aegis Video Organizer directly from the Snap Store:

Or run the following command in your terminal:

sudo snap install aegisvideoorganizer

Option 2: Debian / Ubuntu (.deb)

1. Open your terminal.

2. Navigate to your Downloads folder:

cd ~/Downloads

3. Install the package using apt (recommended):

sudo apt install ./aegisvideoorganizer_XXX_amd64.deb

Note: Using sudo apt install will automatically download any required system dependencies.
